Warp Chain
Buillt on Avalanche
Warp Chain is a custom Layer 1 blockchain leveraging Avalanche’s technology to deliver high performance, scalability, and customization specifically tailored for gaming.
High Performance & Scalability: Sub-second finality with transaction speeds exceeding 4,500 TPS.
Economic Control & Customization: Custom fee structures, game-specific consensus rules, and control over monetary policy.
Interoperability & Security: Built-in bridge capabilities, enabling secure cross-chain asset transfers.
Gaming-Optimized Architecture: Customizable gas models and validator selection optimized for gaming.
Cost-Effective Operations: Lower operating costs and no relayer or bridge fees for native operations.
Our chain, similar to our tools and SDKs, is an integral part of our operations and infrastructure - a solution to enable the work we do, not a product in and of itself.

How is Warp Chain different from other gaming chains?
Revenue streams for the chain. Simplicity for developers.
Most gaming chains operate as a basic infrastructure layer for projects and games. All the chain needs to do is perform as a ledger for validating ownership and transactions.
The advantage of this as a business model is that it's simple. Tokens can be granted to incentivize third parties to build decentralized wallets, marketplaces, exchanges, and dapps onchain. The company behind the chain maintains stability, performance and security.
The disadvantages of this model are fourfold:
Fees generated from onchain transactions are low in comparison to the grants issued to onboard games. It's difficult for chains to cover operating costs let alone become revenue positive.
Grants are often targeted at maximizing onchain transactions (to generate fees), but the more transactions a game requires, the more friction those transactions produce in the user experience.
With reliance on third parties for key infrastructure and services, the ecosystem is fragmented. Game studios have to navigate a minefield of developers and agencies without certainty of the reliability, security and cost-effectiveness of their services.
With ecosystem health reliant on grant recipients, there are numerous points of failure. Studios and users have less certainty that service providers will stay around when the grant money dries up.
The net result of this is that most gaming chains have limited revenue streams, and most game studios struggle to find quality, affordable, reliable services and integrations.
By developing Warp Chain as a fully serviced gaming chain, Warp doesn't just boast numerous revenue streams to support the business and ecosystem. It offers a safe, reliable catalogue of integrations and services for games to build with confidence.
